Where are you located?

Is online speech therapy as effective as in-person therapy?

We proudly offer online therapy for individuals across Ontario, Canada. Our secure and user-friendly online platform makes therapy accessible and straightforward. Our experienced therapists are here to support and guide you every step of the way.

Online speech therapy, when supported by the right tools and resources, provides the same high-quality care with added convenience. It effectively treats patients of all ages and a wide range of disorders. Research shows that virtualtherapy is just as effective and engaging as in-person sessions, dispelling the myth that it’s less personal or interactive.

Are speech therapy services covered by OHIP or my personal insurance plan?

Many insurance companies offer a specific amount of speech therapy coverage per family member each year. Unfortunately, speech therapy services are not covered by OHIP.

What are your hours of operation?

We provide early morning appointments starting at 8 a.m., late afternoon appointments ending at 7 p.m., and weekend appointments based on therapist availability.

No, a referral is not necessary to access speech therapy services.

What should I do if I'm uncertain about my own or my child's need for speech therapy?

Yes! Parental involvement is a key component of child’s therapy. Numerous research studies have shown that parents play an essential role in their child’s intervention. Each session is designed to allow time for the parent and therapist to debrief on the therapy session and discuss carryover activities for at home.

Yes, virtual speech therapy in Canada is confidential. Speech-language pathologists follow strict privacy laws (e.g., PIPEDA) and use secure, encrypted platforms to protect personal information. Ensure your provider is licensed and uses compliant technology.

How long will I or my child be in speech/language therapy?

The length of speech/language therapy depends on the issue's severity, age, and progress. It can range from a few weeks to several months. Your therapist will give a more specific timeline based on individual needs.
